How to sync system clock faster with the NTP (Network Time Protocol) Daemon on Red Hat Enterprise Linux?

Issue

• When ntpd service is restarted, it takes several minutes before clock is being synchronised.
• ntp server slow sync after reboot.
• After booting or restarting the ntp server . The server ,which synchronizing from two sources take few minutes to synchronize . Clients using this server as source will take up to 10 min to get synchronized after synchronizing there no evidence of any problem .
