Server reboots with the message VXFEN WARNING V-11-1-65 Could not eject node 1 from disk

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Two server node cluster host1 and host2 went down and was rebooted. VCS application did not come up, hence file systems were not mounted. Therfore application did not start.
  • VCS fenced one node, the other node rebooted normally, because fencing is not setup properly.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • Veritas Cluster Suite
