Issue

Is there any option available of rsync, to prevent previously backed-up files from being deleted?

Eg :
We have one file name "test" which need to be back up. First rsync will copy the file at destination. Then we updated the file "test" at source. Next time when we do rsync, at destination it should be new file and old file should be renamed with some date format ( file12112012 ).
