Deployment-overlay is not working for an ear file in JBoss EAP 6.

Issue

• I want to test the deployment overlay to modifiy a template.xhtml file inside my java application. Followed the below steps:

 /deployment-overlay=eum_overlay:add
 /deployment-overlay=eum_overlay/content=spb-bo-voyage-2.0.0.war\/template.xhtml:add(content={url=file:////opt/saga2_prov/svn_install/COMMON/SCRIPTS/install/spe_apm/template.xhtml})
deployment-overlay link --name=eum_overlay --server-groups=SG_IHMS_APM --deployments=spb-voyage-2.0.0.ear
 /server-group=SG_IHMS_APM/deployment=spb-voyage-2.0.0.ear:redeploy

My problem is that in the ear file there is a war file and in this war file there is a template folder and in this folder a file called template.xhtml with a war file with folders inside it works ! but with ear file not !
