Names of CLI-configured RewriteRules do not persist

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • EAP 6 allows you to create RewriteRules via CLI, for example:
/profile=ha/subsystem=web/virtual-server=default-host/rewrite=myrulename/:add(substitution=/bar,flags=L,pattern=^/foo$)
  • Subseqent commands called on that rewrite rule name work, but after restarting the domain controller, myrulename no longer exists. The rule is still there, but the given name no longer exists. Instead existing rules at start up are then just named rule-# in numerical order.

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6
