Connection disconnected between applications failing to respond to OLC connect signal

Issue

• Following is the issue scenario :-

• Application is installed on two servers :-

  • system A (10.13.xxy.f), CS1K rsl6.0 which runs on RHEL 5.1, kernel version 2.6.18-53.el5
  • system B (10.12.xxy.f), CS1K rls7.5 which runs on RHEL 5.3, kernel version 2.6.18-164.11.1.el5

• In CS1K a application is used that provides signalling for telephony.

• It happens that applications on system B cannot correctly communicate with applications on system A. While application on system A can communicate and establish a connection with system B.
