System hangs during logout in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2

Issue

When a user performs a logout from gnome-desktop the system freezes and became unresponsive, black screen, and it is not possible to connect even remotely.
System is using Intel Corporation Sky Lake Integrated Graphics booted with vesa driver.
