  • nscd process quietly terminates
  • Seems to happen on multiple different systems at different times.
  • nscd -d output includes the following error message:
    nscd: ../../../libraries/libldap/error.c:273: ldap_parse_result: Assertion `r != ((void *)0)' failed.
