Why do pods/containers started by OpenShift have the option ndots=5 in their /etc/resolv.conf?
Issue
Why did you choose to set the ndots option with the value 5 in the resolf.conf file of the pods ?
We think that it would be better to set it to 4 in line with service.namespace.svc.cluster.local.
With the value 5 it generates unnecessary DNS queries.
