Satellite database: corrupt data block in UNDO_TBS tablespace

Issue

  • Traceback emails from Satellite server, like this:

    SQL Error generated: (1578, "ORA-01578: ORACLE data block corrupted (file # 14, block # 6941)
\nORA-01110: data file 14: '/rhnsat/data/rhnsat/undo_03.dbf'\n",
'update rhnServerInfo set checkin = sysdate, checkin_counter = checkin_counter + 1 where server_id = :server_id')

  • Seem to have a database corruption problem in the undo tablespace
