[RHEL 5.4] The console screen is turned off automatically while gathering kdump.

Issue

  • The console screen is turned off automatically in 10 minutes after the 2nd kernel starts while gathering kdump.
  • Due to this auto turn off, a user may not be sure if kdump is working or not and also the user may not get info from the screen in case kdump fails.
