Overcloud deploy command results in the physical blades switching back to UEFI boot mode which is not supported for iPXE
Issue
- Why the overcloud nodes are switching from
legacytoUEFImode during the deployment with below message ?
Message seen in the ilo console during the boot up on overcloud deploy :
"BIOS configuration was modified by HPE RESTful API. The system will reboot for configuration changes to take effect ."
- Secure boot is disabled but still the issue persist.
Environment
- Red Hat OpenStack Platform 7.0
- HP bl460c Gen9 Blades or higher
- Driver pxe_ilo
