Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • running puppet agent -t on client throws following error:
    "Warning: Local environment: " <environment-set-in-puppet.conf>" doesn't match server specified node environment "production", switching agent to "production".

Environment

  • Red Hat Satellite 6.1.x
  • Red Hat Satellite 6.2.x
  • puppet certificate is signed on the Puppet Master
