proxy with username and password doesn't work: java.io.IOException: Authentication failure

Issue

• I 'm trying to connect to a URL. JBoss is deployed in a server where a proxy is needed with a username and password to go to the internet. I configured proxy with system parameters (http.proxyHost, http.proxyPort, http.proxyUsername, http.proxyPassword), but my JBoss log shows a java.io.IOException: Authentication failure, and the proxy log shows an anonymous access.
