pcp - How to change the instance domain for filesystem metrics
Issue
- Currently the instance domain for the filesys.* metrics is the device mapper name, e.g.
/dev/dm-3
ls -l /dev/mapper/rootvg-varloglv
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 7 Apr 20 19:51 /dev/mapper/rootvg-varloglv -> ../dm-3
- So in this case, the device mapper device for
/dev/dm-3(not very useful), isrootvg-varloglv(which IS useful).
