sssd-libwbclient package conflicts with samba and causes crash in wbinfo command.

Issue

  • wbinfo command does not work:
# wbinfo -g
failed to call wbcListGroups: WBC_ERR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED
Error looking up domain groups
  • Even though the system is joined to Active Directory, wbinfo command fails. However id and getent works.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x
  • samba
  • sssd-libwbclient
