Using Java 8 as a SSL server on gives java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: EC AlgorithmParameters not available while parsing a ClientHello

Environment

Java 8 from package java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.91-0.b14.el7_2.x86_64
Application with SSL/TLS listener. For example:
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6.4
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7
Client connecting with EC specific SSL/TLS extensions
