satellite-sync is failing - "SYNC ERROR: unhandled exception occurred"

Issue

  • Since this morning the satellite-sync is failing with the following error:-
09:17:20 Importing channel errata
09:17:23    Importing *relevant* errata: rhel-x86_64-server-5 (62)

Downloading:+++ sending log as an email +++

SYNC ERROR: unhandled exception occurred:

(Check logs/email for potentially more detail)

TypeError("can't multiply sequence by non-int of type 'str'",)

  • From a google search there was 1 reference to this error in a bugzilla dated 28th April: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=133127
