How do I assign JBoss ON roles to a user when using LDAP authentication? - Red Hat Customer Portal

Issue

When using LDAP for authentication within JON I am unable to determine how to configure roles in this scenario. I see that roles defined within the LDAP server are not applicable however I do not see how to assign a role defined within JON to a user defined on the LDAP server. Is it possible to do this?

Environment

Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 2.3, 2.3.1, 2.4, 2.4.1, 2.4.2, 3.0, 3.0.1, 3.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2.0
LDAP authentication (NOT LDAP authorization/groups)
