virsh attach-disk error "Duplicate ID 'drive-virtio-disk5' for drive"
Issue
Attaching disk to virtual guest, virsh returns successful message. But inside VM disk is not available. Detaching and attaching disk again, virsh returns the error:
error: Failed to attach disk
error: internal error unable to execute QEMU command '__com.redhat_drive_add': Duplicate ID 'drive-virtio-disk5' for drive
Environment
Host:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3
Guest:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8
