ceilometer commands are not responding or connection is aborted

Issue

  • Running ceilometer sample-list or ceilometer alarm-list seems to never complete

    [stack@undercloud]$ ceilometer sample-list
^CStopping Ceilometer Client
[stack@undercloud]$ ceilometer alarm-list
^CStopping Ceilometer Client

  • Running ceilometer sample-list or ceilometer alarm-list will return the following message

    [stack@undercloud-0-rhosp7 ~]$ ceilometer sample-list
('Connection aborted.', BadStatusLine("''",))
[stack@undercloud-0-rhosp7 ~]$ ceilometer alarm-list
('Connection aborted.', BadStatusLine("''",))
