Novell ZENworks Linux Management Imaging Agent adding IP and hostname to an area on the disk, leading to corruption of partition table on EFI boot System
Issue
- System faces kernel panic after rebooting
- Not able to enter rescue mode
- fdisk output from rescue shell shows one GPT partition available, but no other partition detected.
- Running parted command in rescue command detects all the right partitions. Thereafter rebooting system comes up normal.
