Add a group directly to an existing indirect group member in IPA using the WebUI

Issue

  • How to create a permission where a group can manage groups but protect the groups that have higher levels of permissions from being modified by the lesser group using the WebUI?
  • IPA/Web UI prevents adding direct membership if already indirect member.
