JWS 3.0.3 (httpd24 <= 2.4.6-61.ep7.el7) in RHEL 7 fails to create /run/httpd24 after reboot
Issue

We installed JWS 3.0.3 httpd24 rpm packages in RHEL 7 per the Installation Guide and all was well until a reboot, after which point
httpd24.service
failed to start with the following errors:~]# systemctl status httpd24 -l ● httpd24.service - The Apache HTTP Server Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/httpd24.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled) Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Thu 2016-07-28 15:31:55 EDT; 2min 17s ago Process: 1337 ExecStop=/bin/kill -WINCH ${MAINPID} (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) Process: 1307 ExecStart=/usr/sbin/httpd24 $OPTIONS -DFOREGROUND (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) Main PID: 1307 (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) Jul 28 15:31:55 a72.example.com systemd[1]: Starting The Apache HTTP Server... When installing the JWS3, the
/run/httpd24
directory is created at install time but not recreated after reboot, preventing httpd24 from starting.
