Missing network port on hardware Mellanox Technologies MT26438 with mlx4_en driver after upgrading to RHEL6.3

Issue

  • We have some HP SL 390 with onboard Mellanox Technologies MT26438 [ConnectX VPI PCIe 2.0 5GT/s - IB QDR / 10GigE Virtualization+]. We use the 10GigE Virtualization from the MT26438. With RHEL 6.2 the mlx4_en driver recognized the 10GigE Virtualization. With RHEL 6.3 the 10GigE Virtualization is gone.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.3
  • HP ProLiant SL390s G7 system, with
  • onboard Mellanox Technologies MT26438 [ConnectX VPI PCIe 2.0 5GT/s - IB QDR / 10GigE Virtualization+] NIC (PCI ID 15b3:6746), mlx4_en driver.
