[Satellite6] katello-installer script fails with "422 Unprocessable Entity"

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • We installed a satellite with these defaults:
  • since we have a internal CA, I created a csr and signed that against our intermediate CA.
  • But installation fails:

    # katello-installer --certs-server-cert "satellite.crt"\
    > --certs-server-cert-req "satellite.csr"\
    > --certs-server-key "satellite.key"\
    > --certs-server-ca-cert "/etc/ipa/ca.crt"\
    > --certs-update-server --certs-update-server-ca
