Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (with Cluster or Cluster Storage add-on)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (with High Availability or Resilient Storage add-on)
The option monitoring in the /etc/lvm/lvm.conf is set to 1
