Cannot join AD domain, net ads join returns "Strong(er) authentication required"
Issue
Not able to join Windows 2003 R2 Domain, net ads join fails with the following error message.
# net ads join -U Administrator
Administrator's password:

kinit succeeded but ads_sasl_spnego_krb5_bind failed: Strong(er) authentication required
Failed to join domain: Strong(er) authentication required
