How to configure reverse zone in IPA Server after installing it with --no-reverse option.

Issue

  • Reverse zone configurations does not work as expected when "--no-reverse" is specified with "--setup-dns".
  • IPA Replication Server install fails due to incorrect Reverse zone.
ipa-replica-install /var/lib/ipa/replica-info-<hostname-fqdn>.gpg --setup-dns --no-forwarders
Directory Manager (existing master) password: 

ipa         : ERROR    Reverse DNS resolution of address 10.x.x.x (ipa-server.example.com) failed. Clients may not function properly. 
Please check your DNS setup. (Note that this check queries IPA DNS directly and ignores /etc/hosts.)
