Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 installation with a liveimg kickstart command resulted in that all directories has a default ACLs

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • I used livemadia-creator to create a tar archive including the system image for liveimg installation in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
  • I installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 with the tar archive, which is specified in liveimg kickstart command.
  • The installation succeeded, but I had a problem to start sssd daemon after installation.
  • It's a problem of the permission in /var/lib/sss/pipes, and it's affected by the default ACLs.
  • It seems that all directories has the default ACLs in the installed system.
  • Why was the ACL set in the installed system?
