LogEIP component does not log debug level logs

Issue

  • We have a setup which uses sift for logging. When using the logEIP at the DEBUG level with the XML DSL, the log messages do not show up anywhere. 
<log message="got map ${in.header.data}" loggingLevel="DEBUG"/>
log4j.logger.org.apache.camel = DEBUG

  • Red Hat JBoss Fuse
    • 6.1.0
