Seeing "sg_write: data in/out 420/420 bytes for SCSI command 0xd--guessing data in" messages after starting the "raidman" utility, why ?

Issue

  • Raidman utility keeps on logging the following messages in the logs, why ?

     kernel: sg_write: data in/out 420/420 bytes for SCSI command 0xd--guessing data in;
 kernel:    program java not setting count and/or reply_len properly

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3

  • IBM RaidMan-9.00-00-i386
