RHEL6: kernel panic when using software raid1 - mdX_raid1 thread crashes inside rdev_set_badblocks
Issue
The customer use iscsi devices as the software raid1's underlying devices. During shut down, the iscsi report some errors, then the system crash.
The customer use software raid1, and crash when the underlying device has IO errors.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- kernels prior to kernel-2.6.32-358.el6
- software raid1 (mdraid)
