dbus_bindings.DBusException errors when running rhnreg_ks - Red Hat Customer Portal

Issue

When attempting to register a system, the rhnreg_ks command will throw the following errors when invoked:

Error reading hardware information: dbus_bindings.DBusException
Error reading DMI information: dbus_bindings.DBusException

This has been observed when running rhnreg_ks inside of the %post section of a kickstart, or when the rhnreg_ks is invoked by hand via the command line.

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Red Hat Network or Red Hat Network Satellite
Installed rhn-setup packages older than version 0.4.19-17.
