RHEV: VM is unable to PXE boot

Issue

  • VM fails to obtain IPv4 address via DHCP during Network Boot.
  • Sometimes DHCP suceeds, but the boot process fails in one of the next phases, due to timing out.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.5
  • VM booting via network.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 Host
    • gpxe-roms-qemu-0.9.7-6.14.el6.noarch
    • qemu-kvm-rhev-0.12.1.2-2.479.el6_7.2.x86_64
    • libvirt-0.10.2-54.el6_7.2.x86_64
    • vdsm-4.16.27-1.el6ev.x86_64
