I received the exception error "ORA-30036: unable to extend segment by 8 in undo tablespace 'UNDO_TBS'\n" while deleting an object from RHN Satellite

Issue

  • Cannot delete systems registered on Satellite 5.3

  • While deleting channel from satellite server following error occurs:

    # PYTHONPATH=/usr/share/rhn/ python satellite_tools/satrm.py --channel=rhel-i386-as-3 

ERROR: unhandled exception occurred: ((30036, "ORA-30036: unable to extend segment by 8 in undo tablespace 'UNDO_TBS'\n", 'delete from rhnPackageFile where package_id = :package_id')).
