How to boot RHEL7 with systemd in an interactive mode (like earlier versions "Press I for interactive mode")

  • Versions of RHEL prior to RHEL 7 allowed pressing I ("i") during boot to enter an interactive mode where each service-start operation could be confirmed or denied. How can we do this with RHEL 7 and systemd?
