Is it possible to monitor Red Hat Openstack using VMware vROPs ?

Issue

The customer would like to monitor performance of Openstack using vrops and VMWare would like to collect the metrics directly using libvirt API.
We would like to check the if this will be supported and what are the limitation and recommendation e.g how often can we collect the metrics without impacting the performance of the system etc.
