Possible memory leak when creating Perl threads in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4
Issue
Memory allocated during thread creation in perl may not freed when the thread exits. This leads to a program using up too much memory after many threads have been created and destroyed. See the Diagnostic Steps section for an example.
Environment
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6
