Unable to get new kernel entry in the grub menu at the time of booting after kernel upgrade
Issue

Installation of new kernel did not result in menu list entry in the grub at the time of booting while we see entry in /boot/grub/grub.conf
-
At the time of installation of new kernel, below error would be generated.
grubby fatal error: unable to find a suitable template
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- EMC powerpath devices
