Why does RHEL4.6 system report "bnx2: ethN: BUG! Tx ring full when queue awake!" messages in /var/log/messages file?
Issue
- /var/log/messages file is getting filled with following messages.
kernel: NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out
kernel: bnx2: fw sync timeout, reset code = 102002b
kernel: bnx2: eth0: BUG! Tx ring full when queue awake!
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 6.
- Broadcom bnx2 Ethernet card.
