How to determine the names of applications present on a specific openshift node

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • An openshift node has multiple applications hosted on it. One way to determine the names of the application is to
    a) gather the gear UUIDs found in /var/lib/openshift directory on the particular node
    b) Execute the command ' oo-app-info -u ' on openshift broker node to find the name of the application and other relevant information.

The above steps cannot be executed on a non-responsive or degraded openshift node. Its impossible to determine the affected applications, thus the users and the teams once a node degrades.
