Receiving "Internal Server Error, [Errno 13] Permission denied... Error Class Code: 50" when using rhnpush.

Issue

  • Permissions problems trying to upload packages to the RHN Satellite server.

  • When trying to upload a custom package using rhnpush the an error similar to the following is seen:

    Internal server error 500 Internal Server Error 
Error pushing compat-dapl-devel-1.2.14-1.x86_64.rpm: Error 500Error Message: 
    Package upload failed: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/var/satellite/redhat/1/c16/compat-dapl-devel'
Error Class Code: 50 
Error Class Info: Invalid information uploaded to the server (500) 
Waiting 3 seconds and trying again... 
Internal server error 500 Internal Server Error
