For small payload data connections, TCP waits for ACK before sending the remaining packets.

Issue

  • For network applications that have to transmit small payload in bursts (100-300 bytes) , the tcp connection waits for ACK from receiving side after every few packets, before sending the remaining data and thus causing network latency.
