Why does the "gnome-session" process failed to start on system ?

Issue

"gnome-session" process failed to start on system. When trying to start system in gui mode using startx command getting below error:
```
(EE) config/hal: couldn't initialise context: unknown error (null)
```
It seems haldaemon is also not starting on system.
