Why Xorg consumes 100% CPU when execute xfreerdp or rdesktop session with radeon driver ?
Issue
- When a RDP session
xfreerdporrdesktopis started the Xorg process consumes 100% of the CPU and RDP session against Windows becomes too slow. - The problem is solved when system is booted with
radeon.modeset=0kernel parameter, however this disables radeon.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- xorg-x11-drv-ati-7.3.99-2.el6.6
