Stopping the RHDS Admin Server also stops the regular HTTPD instance.
Issue
- We run RHDS10 on our servers as well as the Apache httpd server, the latter to provide clients with server status and reports.
- On RHEL7/RHDS10 we see the behaviour that when I run stop-ds-admin to stop the Admin server, also the httpd processes from Apache are stopped.
- We don't expect this to happen: Apache should function apart from RHDS.
- When I run start-ds-admin again, the Apache httpd is not automatically restarted.
- This only happens once after a system reboot. When I run stop-ds-admin again now, the Apache HTTPD keeps running.
Environment
- Red Hat Directory Server (RHDS) 10.0
- 389-admin-1.1.42-1.el7dsrv.x86_64
