Where the default cfg files come from during container-create-child

Solution Verified - Updated -

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Fuse
    • 6.1.0

Issue

  • When a child container is created with container-create-child, instances/child/etc is populated with a set of cfg files. These files are not copied from the root nor could I find them in the JBoss Fuse installation directory.

Resolution

  • The default cfg files come from resource of org.apache.karaf.admin.core bundle. Check out the code here.

  • In JBoss Fuse 6.1.0 the files are in present in org.apache.karaf.admin.core-2.3.0.redhat-610379.jar and this can be found in the system directory.

$HOME/system/org/apache/karaf/admin/org.apache.karaf.admin.core/2.3.0.redhat-610379/org.apache.karaf.admin.core-2.3.0.redhat-610379.jar
