Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 install from kickstart always boots into runlevel 5 instead of runlevel 3

Issue

When performing an installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, the system keeps defaulting to runlevel 5 instead of the default runlevel 3
After new kickstart install of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3 and booting to runlevel 3, console is never returned but completed status bar remains on screen
- Turning off rhgb quiet boot options shows system is stuck right after starting certmonger [OK]
