LVM commands show 2 volume groups using the same set of physical volumes on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
Issue
- Tried to rename the vg name volgroup1 to volgroup1-prod & now trying to revert backup the vgname from volgroup1-prod to volgroup. It's not allowing me to do that and seeing two entry for same lvm name in lvs -v command.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (RHEL5)
- LVM2 logical volume management
- 2 volume groups are reported to be using the same physical volumes
